Adventurers and explorers come to the city in search of treasure, knowledge, and adventure in the ruins of the once great ancient city that surrounds them, filled to the brim with monsters, traps, and secrets .

The city is a port of call for those seeking answers, a new life, and those who have nowhere else to go and no home to go to.

The players are those with nowhere else to go, and no home of their own, seeking shelter among the traps and dangers of the ruins from the troubles of the outside world. Trying to find their place among the many colorful people of the city of falling leaves.

The City of Falling Leaves is a high fantasy setting that started life as a homebrew campaign for D&D 5th edition, but is being adapted to be a stand alone, d12 based system.
